“We started as a tourist serving tour operator for educational institutions but then we realized that there is a lack of a learning aspect in the field tours. Most of the field tours do not provide learning nor engage students to learn about the place, people, culture or art,” says founder Ramachandran. “We curated our itineraries to provide knowledge with fun. We called our tours “Learning & Leisure.”
The Startup plans to intensify this approach and is in talks to design tours even further and sync with student curriculum. Would it not be cool to visit a city that you learn about in geography or history? Dream Holidays brings this immersive experience to the student so that it makes learning unforgettable and fun.
Founder Ramachandran has a bachelor degree in Commerce from MS Ramaiah College. He has close to 5 years work experience with companies like Accenture, Tesco – HSC & C Cubed Solutions.
He is an avid backpacker.
