Specskraft is a vertically integrated eCommerce portal that sells a curated collection of “fashion-forward eyewear at amazing prices”. Specskarft differentiates on product portfolio, product discovery process, price and brand.
The founders are Sam & Vineetha Chandy, a husband-wife team. Since Sam’s family has been in the optical retail business for 30+ years, Sam has grown up immersed in the eyewear business. For the past 3 years, Vineetha has been running store operations at the family business. They together possess 14+ years of corporate experience across leading MNC companies (Sam – Sales & Marketing, Vodafone, Diageo, United Spirits; Vineetha – HR at Infosys BPO & ICICI Prudential).
It aims “to convert eyewear purchase from an overpriced necessity to a must-have fashion accessory”. Specskraft plans to operate online and eventually offline as well.
