Karthik Nagarajan is seen here pitching his Startup – Unleash – an on-demand veterinary healthcare management platform for companion pet and domestic animals.
The Startup makes a b2b software product for managing appointments, recording customer details and handling payments for service providers in the companion pet/domestic animal healthcare space. The Startup plans to make this a fully equipped ERP, CRM, Web-POS and inventory management solution.
The customer/user side is managed through native mobile apps. All services are enabled on-demand on a mobile marketplace. Service providers include veterinary clinics, boarding shelters, grooming salons, and individuals who conduct workshops or training courses related to pet care (Eg:- canine behaviour correction, pet therapy, pain management etc.).
Unleash grew out of a desire to help the increasing number of hungry and helpless stray dogs. The team soon realized that to be able to take care of helpless animals they would first need to find a way to stay viable.
Karthik has an MS in Computer Science and 5 years experience with the Center for Process Innovation (Atlanta) and IBM. His cofounders are Ranjithkumar Matheswaran, an iOS Engineer and Designer who holds a BE and three years work experience with Corona Labs, perk.com and Above Solutions. The other cofounders are Lokesh Devarajan who also holds a BE degree and three years of experience with Prodapt, Hasura.io and Hipbar. The fourth cofounder is Sivam Natrajan who holds a B.E. degree, with 8 years experience in logistics, operations & fleet management.
