“I hail from a family where half of my relatives happen to be in the Defense and Armed Forces and the other half have been truck drivers and small fleet owners. And this is why right from childhood I was fascinated about vehicles and uniforms. Well, I could not get recommended for the Army but I found my calling in the other one, Logistics,” says Sangam. Like most of the other startups, the Moveatblink journey started with a story too.
It’s about the time when my Dad was transferred from Hyderabad to Bangalore in the month of Aug 2017.My parents connected with one of the Packers & Movers and scheduled the delivery accordingly so that household items get delivered on the same day of their arrival in Bangalore. The service provider failed to deliver the belongings on the promised date. We went on to shop for a few mattresses and treated ourselves to an online ordered meal and slept. “When you meet your parents after many years the last thing that you would want is to see them sleeping on a mattress. The Packers & Mover’s mobile was switched off, until the next day afternoon when we finally received a call from them and got the household items delivered.
I along with my brother began planning to do something with the network that we could possibly build with small fleet owners and transporters, took this bad experience as a challenge to do something about it and hence Moveatblink was born with a motto to provide ” Service Like Never Before”.
The startup is very early and is just getting their team organized.
