“Our solar electric drones can fly continuously at least 5 times longer that current drones in the market. This allows for 4 times more frequent monitoring of pipelines than current methods thereby helping in reducing the cases of illegal pipeline tampering and losses in revenue and damages incurred. Currently we have completed our initial designs and simulations for our drone, are in the process of signing Letter of Intents for pilot projects with the biggest pipeline operators in the country and are raising funds to build our initial prototype,” says Abiseka.
