“We want to be the Alibaba of livestock for B2B customers and the Amazon.com for B2C customers,” says Gaurav.
“I have worked closely with marginal farmers and livestock owners and have seen them struggle for their livelihood. Under tough situations they end up selling their belongings, livestock etc. at 1/3rd the market rate. There are government schemes that provide them some relief but that too is not constant. Till they are made self-dependent, the impact will be low and unsustainable. For sustainable development and positively impact their lives the best solution is to enable them to self-earn and self-grow.”
