“DeepEcom provides a web platform that gives the seller a uniform view to all Ecommerce portals that he/she is working on. It aids an Ecommerce seller with tools and resources and automates their manual tasks involved in handling the business,” said Tejas.

Tejas has worked in Ecommerce consulting for more than 6 years and with time he understood that Ecommerce selling is not as easy and profitable, as Ecommerce buying. There are certain loopholes that only technology automation can solve. Being an engineer himself and working in designing in a corporate structure, he understood the importance of technology. His cofounder Mahesh on the other hand, created multiple tech products for startups. He was working as a consultant for Nielson and that is when Tejas pitched him the idea. They clicked immediately and got together, researched and were able to build various versions of software. On ultimately perfecting the solution they launched the Alpha version of DeepEcom in 2019. Later the following year they released their beta version and involved multiple clients. They finally launched in April 2021. The founders report that they have on-boarded 10 sellers and have strategic tie-ups in place.

Problem to be solved:

A seller selling on multiple Ecommerce portals along with the offline business has immense amount of work to be taken care of. Their usual challenges:

  • Managing numerous inventory sets for multiple Ecommerce portals and their offline businesses. This blocks huge investment and optimization of inventory is not done.
  • Managing accounting is the most tedious task in Ecommerce. Putting all those entries in ERP and structuring the data is a nightmare.
  • Data for Taxation and compliances like GST, TCS, TDS and income tax.
  • Decisions driven by data for restocking and pricing.

DeepEcom Platform:

Looking at the issues, we designed a system which tackles all these issues by

  • Giving an omni channel inventory feature. One inventory set can be used for all the businesses and multi Ecommerce portals. Any encountered sales or credit notes will update on all the portals and the respective ERP.
  • Inventory reconciliation by tracking dispatch and return can be done via a mobile App.
  • Tax compliance data can be achieved through one click, with ERP integration.

Data insights are provided that help businesses take better decisions
