At the Connecting Ideas With Money session at Lounge47 that took place on the 7th of January 2022, founder Pramod Prakash pitched InstaLogist – a logistics tech Startup that helps shippers,
transporters, brokers and fleet owners to efficiently carry out the on-demand full truck load shipment for both local as well as long haul through its FTL Marketplace
platform. The Startup has launched its product and is pre-revenue.

Truck availability information is not easily discoverable, mainly due to the fragmented nature of the supply (fleet), which makes on-demand truck booking, a
tedious process.
● Most of the times multiple players get involved in a single shipment which makes overall operation inefficient and increases the transportation cost.
● Inefficient supply (fleet) and Demand (load) matchmaking causes:
○ Underutilization of Trucks
○ Increase in Inventory holding cost
InstaLogist provides a marketplace platform for full truckload with spot booking of trucks where load providers and fleet providers can discover each other and complete the shipment. The Startup plans to provide a frictionless option to book truck/load via chatbot using a widely used medium (whatsapp) which is already available in every phone. Related provisional patent has been filed in India with application no. 202141040077.
The Startup was attracted to this idea due to the large market opportunity, the huge inefficiency that needed ironing out and chaos and challenges everywhere.
“We started working on our startup as full timers from Aug-2020. We spent time in understanding the domain by playing the role of a traditional transporter, we carried out shipments for our customers from Bangalore to various locations in India which helped us in closely understanding this space and build the right platform. We did two pivots, pilot launches, iterated the product before launching the current version of our product. We are bootstrapped until now. Now its the right time to raise capital mainly for marketing and some tech hiring,” says Pramod.
