Connecting Ideas With Money – Satyanarayan GP – Radhella

On the 11th of February 2022, at the Connecting Ideas With Money session at Lounge47, founder Satya Gajakosh pitched Radhella – a D2C Fast-Fashion Brand made in India and aiming to sell products in the United States. They also want to be a platform for other sellers who want to target Indian products to worldwide B2C customers.

“No Indian Fast Fashion Brand targeting worldwide customers. Why? Major foreign brands get manufactured in India at low production cost using cheap labor and raw materials. They sell those products at a huge profit margin worldwide and another problem is many fashion business entrepreneurs want to take their brand to
international market, but we don’t see any platform other than Amazon,” says Satya.

The startup aims to reach the US market with a concept of ‘Wear anywhere’. It’s a mix of style, comfort, and elegance which is aligned with their unique fast – fashion culture.

“We started from a small house with one machine and one employee as machine operator and even though there was pandemic and we faced many challenges. We put out 100% effort and currently we have 30+ in-house employees and we are working with 60+ Indian artisans across Karnataka alone. Our presence in B2C was very minimum till now and now the time has come to go international…… the reason is, India has more than 10,000 D2C brands that are selling their products in India. There are very less brands who want to sell their products out of India from the beginning and where we fall in niche segment and have fewer competitors, with a huge profit margin,”
says Satya.
