At the Connecting Ideas With Money, Lounge47 session held on the 4th of May 2022, founder Jaydeep S pitched Koch-based Bluehour Technologies – a B2b/SaaS pre-revenue startup that offers an end-to-end product cataloging solution for ecommerce sellers. It helps them generate professional-quality product photos and descriptions by
themselves using their smartphones. Their aim is to make the product onboarding process for ecommerce sellers, faster, cheaper, and easier.

“Cost of hiring professionals…photographer, editor, content creator is high and also time consuming. Photography is not often a key skill for a small business, and creating a catalog with SEO-friendly descriptions is a hassle for small sellers. Poor quality and inconsistent product photos uploaded by sellers lead to an inconsistent brand experience and loss of sales. A team is often required to monitor the quality and manage the process,” says Jaydeep.
The startup recently pivoted from an Android/iOS app to a shopify App, which has more than 1.5 million sellers and a stable ecosystem. Bluehour has onboarded 5 angel investors as well, hired talent to build and market the App and launched the beta version on the Shopify App now.
