At the Connecting Ideas With Money, Lounge47 session held on the 4th of May 2022, founder Srikanth Muppalla pitched Hyderabad-based Edtech (Skill Development) startup SkillDzire – a real-time learning platform where candidates get trained by industry experts along with certification and opportunities. The startup is at the early traction stage.
The startup identified that only 7 % engineering graduates are employable and began to ask the question: What’s wrong with India’s engineers?
“The biggest problem is students don’t have any practical industry related skills. In absence of proper guidance, a large number of students get stuck and then struggle to get to their first job,” says Srikanth.
The startup is trying to bridge the gap between industry demand and the available talent pool in the country through SkillDzire.
