“One of the potential challenges in the India growth story will be to maintain quality at higher production output. It is paramount that our quality systems in manufacturing and processing industries evolve as our economy accelerates,” says Venkata. “Quality inspection is the bedrock on which quality systems are built. Today most Indian industries find it difficult to design and implement effective quality systems. Our industries use manual inspection or sample inspection as they lack the know-how and imported solutions are expensive.”
YantraVision develops vision-based inspection solutions for the manufacturing and processing industries. YantraVision’s high-speed inspection solutions are currently used in the textile and print industries. These are cutting-edge solutions that use artificial intelligence and are implemented on the edge. YantraVision has been on this journey for the last four years and they report to have found considerable success in the textile and printing verticals. YantraVision’s future focus will be print, packaging and food processing.

Kamalesh Vikramsimhan and Venkata R Sarathy founded YantraVision in 2015 and they have been focused on solving quality challenges using vision technology since 2018. Both of them are engineering batchmates. Kamalesh has extensive experience in cutting-edge technology and has worked in companies like Intel and Philips. Venkata R Sarathy handles business and has experience in consumer goods companies like Coca-Cola and Mars Wrigley.
