At the Connecting Ideas With Money session, that took place on the 29th of July, founder Adhik Mewada pitched Smowcode – a lowcode, IoT, Saas pre-seed startup from Mumbai.

“We are a graphical coding language that reduces coding time by 11x in the IoT and automation Sector. We do it by managing codes for the user and allowing them to focus only on the logic,” says Adhik. “Text Coding is unnatural and coders take days to code simple firmware. Coding languages in IoT sector (C/C++) are slow, complex and difficult to learn. We save coding time via a graphical coding language that manages more, and emphasizes more. We are 11x faster than C/Arduino, 2x faster than PLCs and 60x faster to learn than C/Arduino.”
I am a coder. It took me days to develop simple firmware applications and I found that no one is solving this problem. We have first mover advantage in the low-code IoT Sector.
The startup was founded in November 2019, the prototype was tested in October 2020 and MVP launched in November 2021. The startup has just finished a successful pilot with 30+ Customers, reached 25+ companies and 600+ students and is now looking to scale with coders world-wide.
