At the Connecting Ideas With Money Lounge47 session, that took place on the 16th of September 2022, founder Vivek Gowripeddi pitched Cymbeline Innovation – a Bangalore-based industrial IoT startup. They are in the early customer acquisition stage.

“We accelerate OEMs to transform digitally, be energy efficient and turn carbon neutral through industrial IoT and Artificial Intelligence,” says Vivek. “We solve the problem of lack of data, transparency, disconnect between operations and business by helping organizations make data driven decisions by connecting their shopfloor
data to their IT and business layer. We bring machine data, energy data, environment data, emission data and their insights to help make key decisions to improve OEE, reduce emissions and implement cleaner energy.”
The startup offers a combination of hardware to talk to Machines (even legacy machines), transformers, cooling units, silo systems and software – purpose built AI driven engineering software for shopfloor data analytics and insights.
The founders recognized a big gap in the use of technology in the industrial space and given their unique multidisciplinary abilities, the founders managed to provide a comprehensive solution.
“We started up while in the final year of college as none of us wanted to work for any company and wanted to experience the battle, challenges and truly understand what it means to start your own enterprise and run it. What started off as an experiment in 2017, will be 4 years in July. Simple answer to what excites us about our
startup is we wouldn’t be doing anything else from what we are doing right now. It’s exactly what we want to do at a personal level, professional level and community level,” says Vivek.

The team met on a soaking soccer pitch in July 2014 as freshman to play a game. They shared complimentary skills and came together like “jigsaw pieces coming
together to form a bigger picture’.
