At the Connecting Ideas With Money session on the 12th of November, 2022 Andrew Nelson pitched GetRentacar.com, a tender-based marketplace for renting and subscribing to vehicles at the best prices. The startup is based in the US.
The marketplace models enables clients to rent and subscribe to vehicles from a community of local owners at best prices.
“We created a unique product with machine learning and smart tenders to get better prices,” says founder Alexander Pershikov. “These features result in prices undercut by up to 30% in comparison to competitors and upto 50% to traditional rental companies.”
The marketplace business model allows the startup to easily expand globally and it is therefore operational in a 100+ countries. Founder Andrew Nelson reports that the startup operates with 55,000+ SME and P2P vehicles and that the startup is confident that this number will increase 10-fold by 2026.
