“India has a high population of young working professionals. The increasing competition within these jobs leads to higher working hours per week and is causing a serious burnout problem for them. This is leading to an increasing number of cases of mental health issues, burnout, and distress due to not being able to focus on other aspects of life like health, relationships, emotional well-being…..especially since Covid people have realized this more and are looking out for experiences and self-improvement opportunities outside of their work life,” says Sagar.
“By providing challenges and events, Oopar goes outside the boundaries of only being a tech platform and allows this community to interact with each other in more humane ways with higher face to face interaction helping increase the belongingness with each other.”
