At the Connecting Ideas With Money session that took place on the 20th of January 2023 founder Pravin Bolar pitched vBridge Hub – a Bangalore-based startup that fulfills digital and IT services requirements for enterprises, using a marketplace of vetted, qualified and contracted SMB IT suppliers. It is currently post MVP and in early stage of revenue generationfrom initial customers.
Digital is becoming key to the survival of enterprise of all sizes across all industries. Adopting digital
technologies requires new-age skills and capabilities. One of the biggest challenges the enterprises face
with digital and IT transformation is lack of these skills, both internally and in existing suppliers. As a
result, there is a need to access new skills and new suppliers to successfully fulfill digital priorities.
There is a large eco-system forming of new, small & niche digital/IT services suppliers that have
capabilities across cloud modernization, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, industry 4.0, hyper automation, augmented reality, virtual reality, web 3.0 and many more.
Identifying such suppliers, who have the capability, experience and meet compliance, is difficult and time consuming. In addition, while many large enterprises are working with traditional large tier-1/tier-2 service providers, they don’t have access to this large eco-system of small and medium (SMB) IT services suppliers who carry 25% of skill capacity in the market. Supplier empanelment constraints and supplier consolidation programs make it difficult for large enterprises to engage with this eco-system.
The co-founders experienced these challenges when building a supply eco-system of smaller cloud
services partners to deliver the growing business demand. They had first hand experience of hearing the challenges faced by enterprises across the globe in starting their digital journeys due to lack of expertise.
vBridge Hub is addressing all these challenges for the mid-market and large enterprises by aggregating
the capacity across the SMB suppliers through the B2B marketplace. Thus, allowing enterprises to
accelerate the sourcing and delivery of digital and IT services requirements through a single fulfillment
platform.
Team
The team has 12 members – two co-founders, Pravin Bolar and Krishna VHS, who come with a collective IT industry experience of 50 years. The co-founders have worked together as a team for ten year, on both the buy and sell side of the IT industry and have experience working in the US, Europe,
Middle East, India and Asia Pacific regions with companies such as DHL, Honeywell, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Bharti Airtel.
At their last company, Tech Mahindra, Pravin was the Senior VP and Head and Krishna was the EMEA and APAC sales leader for the cloud services business.
