Little Jungle is now at the growth stage and already profitable. It is dedicated to solving the convenience challenges of offering a wide range of plant varieties to consumers online, all while contributing to greener urban areas.
Recognizing the unorganized nature of the gardening market, Little Jungle realized that a Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) model was the only way to address distribution issues effectively. By embracing this approach, they aim to boost the habit of gardening, making it more accessible and enjoyable for urban dwellers.
The story behind Little Jungle is rooted in a passion for the environment. Giridhar, the founder, spent a decade working as a civil engineer in various builder firms. Feeling guilty about the rapid urbanization and his role in it, he decided to shift his focus from cutting trees and building apartments to contributing to greener initiatives. Together with his wife, Anushree, a half-CA with an MBA in entrepreneurship from DCU, they co-founded Little Jungle in 2021.
