Sunil Jain – Sprout Venture Partners Fund

 

 

At the ‘Connecting Ideas With Money’ session @ Lounge47 this morning, Sunil Jain of Sprout Venture Partners Fund is seen giving entrepreneurs feedback at the end of the session.

He made a couple of points:

  1. Founders should introduce their teams at the beginning of the presentation. Investors are keen to know upfront ‘who’ they are investing in.
  2. When presenting the size of the market Founders should use more relevant numbers.
  3. That the ASK should backed up with a plan of how the funding will be used to build value in the startup
  4. That Startups seeking funding should also present the ‘unit economics’ of their business to the extent possible
