“The idea of the App came from the issues that the Physiotherapists across the world and myself face in their day to day practice. Studies have reported Home Exercise non-compliance to be as high as 70% amongst the population attending the physiotherapy sessions. This correlates to a non-effective treatment, increased pain, impairment and cost. So, understanding the patient’s behavior, overcoming the patient’s barriers and influencing exercise behavior of the patient is essential for a physiotherapist for successful treatment outcomes,” says Sanjay. “The existing ways of delivering Home Exercises are ineffective due to a lack of real-time data exchange. So, in this tech–savvy generation as everything is on mobile App we developed an App that is simple, attractive and user-friendly wih ta human touch to help Physiotherapists improve patient’s health outcomes and to help patients perform their exercises and stay connected to their Physiotherapists any time, anywhere through their smartphones.”
EndoRush app is co-founded by Dr. Sanjay Poojari (PT) and Dr. Mansi Parikh (PT).
Dr. Sanjay Poojari (PT) completed his Master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from Manchester Metropolitan University (UK), 2011 and has 7 years of experience working for HC-One in UK, Spectrum Physiotherapy and Nationwide Primary Health Care in Bangalore. He also worked as Chief Physiotherapist for Bhawanipore F.C, Karnataka State Rugby Team, Bangalore, Warhawks American Football team, Tour of Nilgiris and many other sports events.
Dr. Mansi Parikh (PT) completed her Master’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts, USA, 2014 and is a licensed Physical Therapist in USA. She also holds several other degrees in the fields of shoulder rehabilitation and female athletes rehabilitation with 7 years of experience working in MGH, Citywide home care (Boston), PTHS (Canton) the USA.
