“We have wireless sensor nodes placed on top of on-demand cabs to continuously sense air pollution levels around the region of the cab and pump the real time data to the cloud. The aggregated data from various cabs would be used to analyze pollution trends and predict future levels,” says Souvik. “Air pollution is causing a serious havoc in our country. With the unpredicted rise in pollution levels people are suffering to a great extent. We believe that bringing innovation in environmental monitoring will help in building smart sustainable cities of the future.”
