Founders Lijesh Vincent and Anusha A Chowdaiah, seen pitching Bangalore-based L’inoui [pronounced lin-wi and meaning extraordinary,
rare and unexpected] – a food startup that offers a luxury brand of pure cocoa and butter chocolates both online
and offline.
L’inoui currently operates three outlets – at Hatworks Boulevard, Cunningham Road, at the Collanade, Leela Palace
and at PVR Cinemas, Forum Mall, Koramangala, Bangalore. It recently opened its third store.
“Every L’inoui product is hand-made in the finest traditions of European boutique chocolateries. Crafted from sinfully
decadent Belgian chocolate, L’inoui’s products are created for those who appreciate and enjoy the finest from around the
world,” explains Anusha.
The Startup is headed by Anusha and the team has painstakingly researched and recreated recipes from European confectionaries
and chocolatiers. The Startup claims that each ingredient is picked from the best sources – the chocolate is from Belgium,
fruit purees that go into the macarons from Europe and the almond powder to create the macaron shells from California, while
the fresh vanilla is picked fresh in tropical estates.
This husband-wife team led Startup is currently based only in Bangalore.
